How do I make gourmet coffee drinks like Starbucks?
Ashley asked:
I usually don’t drink coffee. However, when the holidays are round around the corner, I HAVE to have gourmet coffee. I would appreciate it if you can provide recipes for cappucinos, lattes, espressos, etc.
Also, which gourmet coffee makers and steamers are best? Mr. Coffee? Thank you.

Making the perfect pot of coffee?
natures_dragoneer asked:
I was never a big coffee drinker , but drinking coffe alot , especially in the morning when I get up .. Here’s the situation. First off I buy Foldger’s Gourmet Special for coffee. I tried three flavors so far and right now trying carmel drip. I store my cofee in the freezer, people have told me to either store it in the fridge or freezer. Not sure if the freezer is the correct way to store it ? So I have a 4 cup coffee pot and not sure how many tablespoons of coffe to put in the filter. tried 4 to 6 tablespoons and then someone told me that it was too much! so added 2 tablespoons like suggested by the person ( cause I am using only a 4 cup coffee maker ) , buit the coffee was really weak. I went back to 4 tablespoons of coffee and can drink the coffee to a point , but really bitter and yucky tasting !!
Oh and I don’t use tap water I use spring water from a spring water.
- Best way to store coffee?
-How many tablespoons of coffee do I use for my small 4 cup cofee maker?

“We’ll even add the cream & sugar for you” say the new McDonald’s coffee commercials?
worldinspector asked:
Don’t you think that’s the stupidest commercial you’ve ever heard? I’m an easy customer, but only I know how much cream and sugar I want in a particular cup of coffee. Nothing against McDonald’s people — I wouldn’t want the head chef of a gourmet restaurant deciding how much cream and sugar to put in my coffee either!

Why do so many people like Starbucks?
Goddesspiggy asked:
Personally I don’t like Starbucks coffees cos its coffees don’t have coffee taste but only way too bitter….That’s why I have no idea why so many people like to drink its coffees. I think it’s not worth the price. If I want a cup of coffee, I rather go to a gourmet coffee shop which coffees smell can spread out everywhere. If you guys and gals have opportunity to visit Thailand or go to Thai restaurant, just order their Thai coffees…it tastes good too.

Starbucks Double Chocolate Chip Frappucino recipe - easy fix with not much coffee taste?
HisKeiki asked:
Ok, i’ve googled and googled for this! I’ve found alot of different sites, but no luck with recipes i’ve tried. Most of them have the ‘4 cups(something like that) of strong coffee?!! Now, the Starbuck’s double chocolate chip frappucino I drink is NOTHING like that! I can’t even taste the coffee in theirs. I used this recipe(from gourmet sleuth i believe) and it tasted awful. Waaayyyyy too much coffee flavor, and even with adding the extra choc syrup(hershey’s btw) it didn’t taste right. Also, the chocolate chips it said to use just got stuck in the blender…. the recipe called for no milk, but i believe you put that in it as well(tried a little the second time i made it, the girl that worked at starbucks said so also).
I do not know where to buy espresso, and starbucks doesnt sell it anymore. Just used the instant coffee stuff, but bleh!!!!
Any ideas on this?
